Tropical Sea Life
An island experience is not complete without the ocean and creative life among the many reefs. I try and represent a lot of reality in my reef paintings which also balance out some of my other more fantasy oriented works. Although the backgrounds of some are abstract and hyper-real, it gives off that extra special magic inspiring my mind as if I am actually in the water.

Tiki Desert Cactus
If you've ever visited Palm Springs, then you know it's a stomping ground for mischievous Tiki brought over from the islands. The reason they find it such a great place to call home is the life source of Lava Cactus in the area. This place turns as hot as an active volcano during the summer months, it's a good thing there are palm trees and sparkling pools which makes this place a Tiki / Hula Paradise.
