Original: The original work of art is the actual one of a kind hand painted work by CRobert Bjork and is the most valuable of art investments.
Limited Edition (LE): When there is a predetermined number of fine art prints published, usually individually numbered, hand embellished, and signed by CRobert Bjork.
Hand Embellished: acrylic paint added to areas of the print, enhancing with unique texture, and appeal.
Open Edition (OE): When there is not a predetermined number of prints published, and upon the sellout of the first printing, additional prints may be published by BjorkArtStudio.
Special Edition (SE): Similar to a limited edition, but the prints may be remarqued, have an important signature, or are specifically used for a special event. Each print that has been designated as a special edition is signed and numbered by CRobert Bjork with a “SE” written before the edition number.
Artist’s Proofs (AP): As fine art prints are being created, the artist or printing specialist will pull individual prints from the press sporadically during the printing run and are compared to the original work of art. This is to make sure that the prints accurately represent the quality of the original. Each print that has been designated as an Artist Proof is then signed and individually numbered by the artist with an “AP” written before the edition number. Usually an artist proof will be an odd size or slightly off centered.
Past (rare) Piece using a different pseudonym
Remarqued Print: A print issued with an original added painting by CRobert Bjork, added objects or characters making it a one of a kind. Each remarque drawing made by the artist is slightly different or completely different, thus making
each print totally unique. An artist remarqued print is the ultimate collector item in terms
of reproduced work.
